Mimi is one of the first large-scale branding projects I was brought on to do.
Mimi is the avatar for the streamer Mirakurutaimu, a VTuber. In 2020 I was contacted by her to create a brand new design for her persona online.
These are the original moodboards and list of inspirations sent by Mira, basically a checklist of interesting traits that I was tasked with combining into one design.
Above are the first passes at fashion, mood, and hairstyling for the character. The objective was something punk yet fashionable and sporty.
This was the final set-in-stone design.
